I've always been a big fan of Nintendo. When everyone else got a Sega... I stuck with Nintendo. When everyone else got a Playstation, I got a Nintendo. When everyone else got an X-Box, I got a Nintendo. It wasn't until my favorite game series Mortal Kombat failed to be released as a Nintendo game that I finally decided to get a different game system. I chose X-Box and have been irretreivably hooked ever since. Not only is the system amazing, with the powerful backing of Microsoft, but it's disciples are legion and many of them, hackers. So finding help with modifications to the system is quite easy. Here are some of the modifications that I've made, either to my own equipment or my friends.

Police Controller     Stacy thought Jim's controller was just the coolest. So when her birthday came up, I had to make one for her. At the time of her birthday, I had some issues with the resistors I was using and I ended up frying some LED's and as such got her something else for her birthday. I finally finished this just before I left for Australia. I still would have liked to put some grips on it, similar to the suede on Jim's, in a white leather, but I just plain ran out of time. Finished August 2005. Back to Top

Troll Controller     Jim is a big fan of X-Box, so it only seems natural that I would modify him a controller. He had mentioned at one point how cool it would be to have a controller with spikes and leather on it to match his online and FrightFest alter-ego. Without his knowledge, I fashioned this for him. It has spikes just above the trigger buttons, suede leather grips, a chain between the grips, a scrap of black faux fur tied to the power cord, a roughly scratched-in "Troll" with a red smear of blood/paint, and two glowing red demon eyes beneath the X-Box jewel on a transluscent green controller. I also re-designed the packaging for when I gave it to him. Finished March 2005. Back to Top
